Keerthy Suresh

Keerthy Suresh is an Indian actor, born on the 17th of October 1992. Her movies are mostly in Tamil or Telugu however she is in some Malayalam films. In 2018, she received the National Film Award Best Actress Award for playing the character Savitri. She also won a Filmfare Award South and three SIIMA Awards. Keerthy is the daughter of producer G. Suresh Kumar and actress Menaka G. Suresh. She began her career as a child performer at the beginning of 2000 and was back in films following her studies of fashion design. She portrayed her first leading role in Geethaanjali (2013 Malayalam). She went on to star in successful films such as Ring Master (2014), Rajinimurugan (2016), Remo (2016), Bairavaa (2017), Nenu Local (2017), Sandakozhi 2 (2018), Mahanati (2018), Sarkar (2018), Sandakozhi 2 (2018), Penguin (2020), Miss India (2021), Good Luck Sakhi (2022) and Sarkaru Vaari Paata (2022). Keerthy has signed her first Tamil projects in the year 2015. She then began accepting projects out of Malayalam. She released her first film, A. L. Vijay's romantic comedy Idhu Enna Maayam, in 2015 alongside Vikram Prbhu. It was not an immediate success in the box office. It was necessary to withdraw of several films she had been making in 2015 like Krishna's Maane Thaene Paeye and Deekay's Kavalai Vedam in order to allow for bigger projects. As a result, she worked on two films, Rajini Murugan followed by Remo featuring Sivakarthikeyan. Dhanush also played her role as Thodari in Prabhu Solomon's Thodari. The film's release was pushed back in the year 2015, and will now occur after September in 2020. It'll have a different title Janakitho Nauu. Nenu Sailaja (2016), featuring Ram Pothineni as the actor was Keerthy's debut. Keerthy was first seen in Bairavaa (directed by Bharathan) opposite actor Vijay. In the year 2017, Keerthy was on the screen in Tamil film PaambhuSattai and Telugu film Nenu Local.
